Joining Ginny at Small Things again this week.
Still working on that capelet. I'm nearly done - knitting the collar while crocheting it on (yes, I get tangled). I finished reading my Lauren Willig book and am now reading free novellas by Karen Chance (I adore her books).
Here's my finished bracelet. I love it. I bought the button last weekend - it was love at first sight.
Also! Don't forget to enter my giveaway for a copy of a spectacular Waldorf doll pattern and tutorial by the amazing Adirondack Patterns.
I spy with my little eye... a pretty button :-)

I'm attempting to block it now. I figure that if I do it wrong, I can take it on Friday to people who know what they're doing. It still won't get to you on time, though. :/
Deletei really love your capelet, looking forward to seeing it complete and on you.
ReplyDeleteThanks! It's actually not for me. It's a birthday present for a friend in California (see comment above). I may (it's a long shot) consent to a photograph of it as evidence before I send it off, though. We'll see. I'm not really a fancy-stuff kind of girl. :/
DeleteI can't wait to see your finished caplet.
ReplyDeleteGreat buttons on your bracelets and a wonderful idea.
Thanks, Tracey!
DeleteI've been wanting to make something with my Rasta for a while. I adore the colors, but seriously don't need a hat or cowl in Florida. I figure I'll make a mess of bracelets and coffee sleeves - at least then I'll get to see (and pet!) my lovely yarn in many locations! (:
I am really liking the color of your bracelets! Very cheerful! I am looking forward to seeing your finished caplet :)
